Foot Institute Doctors put in approximately 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to traditional medical school and as a matter of fact many podiatry programs are contained within these academic institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have received encompassing medical training with a stress on issues pertaining to the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are instructed to treat complications stretching from conventional problems for example, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are a lot more complicated like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
