Our podiatrists invest approximately 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to standard medical school and in reality several podiatry programs are contained inside these schools. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Doctors have received comprehensive medical training with a stress on difficulties regarding the ankles and feet.
