Our podiatrists invest an average of a decade in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles usual medical school and in fact several podiatry programmes are contained inside these schools. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the finalization of the internship or residency, our Foot doctors have acquired wide-ranging healthcare education with a focus on concerns concerning the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are educated to address complications extending from basic disorders like fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are more challenging for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have considerable surgical training which provide them the practical experience essential to perform surgical treatment on those complications that are best handled through surgical treatment.

Our Doctors also have a comprehensive practical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs submit to as we walk, run or perform other activities. Realizing biomechanics and gait deviations empowers a Podiatrist to design shoes and orthotics that can offer pain relief and protect against many conditions which the feet normally encounter.
