Our doctors put in around 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and in reality several podiatry programmes are located within these schools. After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 to 3 years.

Upon the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have received wide-ranging medical training with a stress on problems regarding the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are taught to handle concerns ranging from usual ailments for instance, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are even more perplexing such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at the Foot Institute have comprehensive surgical education which give them the prior experience necessary to conduct surgical treatment on those problems that are best handled through surgical intervention.

Our Doctors likewise have a thorough knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet undergo as we walk, run or perform other activities.
