Our doctors invest approximately ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to typical medical school and in point of fact many podiatry programs are located inside these schools. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.
At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Doctors have received wide-ranging medical instruction with a stress on conditions regarding the ankles and feet.
