After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have obtained extensive medical training with a concentration on conditions regarding the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are skilled to handle difficulties stretching from conventional problems for example, fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more puzzling for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors also have a comprehensive expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs go through as we walk, run or carry out other activities.
