Our doctors devote an average of 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to traditional medical school and in reality several podiatry programs are located inside these academic institutions. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

Upon the finalization of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received substantial health care training with a focus on issues involving the ankles and feet.
