After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.

Foot Institute Doctors likewise have a comprehensive practical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet withstand as we walk, run or carry out other activities. Having knowledge of biomechanics and gait irregularities facilitates a Podiatric physician to design footwear and orthotics which can bestow pain relief and protect against many troubles which the feet typically experience.
