Our doctors spend around a decade in learning, the first four years in undergrad studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to usual medical school and in point of fact many podiatry programmes are contained inside these institutions. Upon getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received encompassing medical training with an emphasis on difficulties regarding the ankles and feet. They are taught to treat concerns ranging from basic problems such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more sophisticated like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
