Our doctors spend an average of 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and as a matter of fact a number of podiatry programmes are located within these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have acquired encompassing medical training with a focus on issues regarding the feet and ankles. They are qualified to deal with issues ranging from regular ailments like fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are more sophisticated for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
