They spend approximately a decade in learning, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and in fact quite a number podiatry programmes lie within these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Foot doctors have received comprehensive health care training with a concentration on conditions regarding the feet and ankles. They are instructed to treat issues stretching from familiar ailments like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are even more perplexing for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
