Our podiatrists devote around ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and numerous podiatry programs are located within these academic institutions. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received encompassing medical training with an emphasis on issues concerning the feet and ankles. Doctors at the Foot Institute likewise have a comprehensive expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet endure as we walk, run or carry out other activities.
