Our doctors invest approximately ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and in point of fact many podiatry training programs lie inside these schools. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric doctors have obtained extensive medical training with an emphasis on issues involving the ankles and feet.
