Foot Institute Doctors spend about 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and in fact many podiatry training programs are located inside these academic institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received thorough medical instruction with a concentration on complications regarding the ankles and feet.
