They invest an average of ten years in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and as a matter of fact various podiatry training programs are located inside these schools. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Doctors have obtained thorough medical training with a concentration on issues concerning the feet and ankles.
