Our podiatrists spend about ten years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to typical medical school and as a matter of fact numerous podiatry programs lie within these academic institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have acquired encompassing medical instruction with an emphasis on difficulties pertaining to the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are educated to treat complications varying from regular ailments such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are a lot more perplexing for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
