Our podiatrists spend an average of 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to traditional medical school and in reality various podiatry programmes are located inside these academic institutions. Upon attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

Upon the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received extensive medical education with an importance on complications pertaining to the ankles and feet.
