Foot Institute Podiatrists devote approximately a decade in learning, the first four years in undergrad studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and a number of podiatry training programs are contained inside these schools. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Foot doctors have gained extensive healthcare instruction with a stress on difficulties pertaining to the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are skilled to address problems stretching from standard conditions for example, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are even more perplexing for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Foot Institute Doctors additionally have an extensive knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs undergo as we walk, run or perform other tasks. Learning about biomechanics and gait problems enables a Podiatrist to develop shoes and orthotics which can bestow pain relief and protect against numerous troubles which the feet normally encounter.
