They spend around ten years in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to usual medical school and many podiatry programs are contained within these schools. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Doctors have gained substantial medical instruction with a concentration on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are instructed to care for problems ranging from conventional ailments for instance, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are even more complicated for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
