They devote an average of 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to usual medical school and as a matter of fact quite a number podiatry programs are located inside these institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Doctors have gained substantial healthcare training with a stress on conditions concerning the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are instructed to handle concerns ranging from typical disorders such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more complex such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have substantial surgical instruction which supply them the practical experience vital to perform surgical treatment on those complications that are best treated through surgical treatment.
