Foot Institute Podiatrists spend approximately ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in fact various podiatry programs lie within these institutions. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

At the conclusion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have obtained comprehensive medical instruction with an emphasis on difficulties involving the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are taught to care for difficulties stretching from standard ailments such as ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are a lot more complex for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
