Foot Institute Doctors spend an average of ten years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to traditional medical school and in fact several podiatry programmes are contained within these academic institutions. After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

Upon the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have obtained thorough health care instruction with an importance on conditions regarding the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are studied to handle concerns varying from familiar ailments for instance fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are even more sophisticated including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have thorough surgical instruction which supply them the experience necessary to execute surgical treatment on those complications that are best treated through surgical intervention.
