Foot Institute Doctors put in an average of 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to typical medical school and in fact a number of podiatry programmes are located inside these institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 - 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have gained substantial medical education with an attention to on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are educated to handle complications extending from general conditions for example, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are even more sophisticated such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
