At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Doctors have obtained extensive healthcare instruction with a stress on concerns pertaining to the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are studied to address conditions stretching from common problems like fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are far more intricate such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have extensive surgical instruction which give them the experience vital to carry out surgery on those problems that are best remedied through surgical intervention.

Foot Institute Doctors furthermore have a thorough practical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet receive as we walk, run or carry out other activities. Knowing biomechanics and gait deviations makes it possible for a Podiatrist to design shoes and orthotics which can give pain relief and prevent many problems which the feet regularly encounter.
