Our podiatrists devote about ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and actually several podiatry programs are located within these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have obtained extensive healthcare training with an emphasis on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles. They are taught to treat difficulties varying from typical afflictions for example, fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are a lot more sophisticated for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have substantial surgical education which supply them the skill vital to perform surgery on those problems that are best managed through surgical treatment.

Our Doctors also have an extensive knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs experience as we walk, run or perform other activities.
