Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and various podiatry programs are contained inside these academic institutions. Upon achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received extensive medical training with an emphasis on problems involving the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are taught to address issues ranging from simple disorders like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are a lot more obscure for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
