Our doctors spend approximately ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and actually a number of podiatry training programs lie within these schools. Upon securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Foot doctors have acquired considerable health care education with an attention to on complications pertaining to the ankles and feet.
