Our podiatrists put in about a decade in education, the first four years in undergrad studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and in reality many podiatry training programs are located inside these academic institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received wide-ranging medical education with a stress on conditions concerning the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are educated to deal with complications extending from commonplace ailments for example, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are far more sophisticated including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Foot Institute Doctors furthermore have a thorough practical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet submit to as we walk, run or perform other activities.
