Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and in point of fact several podiatry programs are located within these academic institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

Upon the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have gained wide-ranging medical education with an attention to on problems pertaining to the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are educated to treat problems stretching from usual afflictions such as fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are much more intricate for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have substantial surgical instruction which provide them the expertise crucial to perform surgery on those conditions that are best treated through surgical intervention.
