They devote an average of 10 years in learning, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to usual medical school and in point of fact numerous podiatry training programs are contained within these schools. Upon attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.
