Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and in reality many podiatry training programs are located within these schools. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Doctors have gained wide-ranging healthcare training with a stress on conditions concerning the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are qualified to care for difficulties extending from general conditions like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are even more perplexing such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
