Our doctors spend an average of a decade in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles standard medical school and actually several podiatry training programs are located inside these academic institutions. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.
