They invest approximately 10 years in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to acquire a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to typical medical school and in fact various podiatry programmes lie within these institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have gained substantial medical education with an attention to on complications pertaining to the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are educated to address concerns ranging from common conditions like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are much more challenging such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
