Foot Institute Doctors spend approximately a decade in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to acquire a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and as a matter of fact several podiatry programmes are contained within these academic institutions. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received significant medical training with a focus on conditions pertaining to the ankles and feet.
