After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have received comprehensive medical training with a main focus on problems concerning the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are educated to manage problems ranging from general afflictions like fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are far more complicated for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have substantial surgical training which supply them the expertise necessary to perform surgery on those troubles that are ideally managed through surgical intervention.

Doctors at the Foot Institute also have a comprehensive expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet undergo as we walk, run or perform other activities.
