Our doctors put in approximately ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and a number of podiatry programmes are located within these institutions. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have received extensive medical education with a stress on difficulties involving the feet and ankles. They are trained to handle difficulties varying from conventional conditions for instance ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are more complicated for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
